The Artist Proof Art Gallery,was founded 24 years ago by Alyson Stoddard
Thompson. Students of the Artist Proof have won prizes in juried exhibitions, won State and local awards,gain admission into
prestigious colleges and universities, have gone into teaching careers, fashion design,architecture, and have even opened
their own galleries.Many of her students are commissioned to do their art for customers and sell on a regular basis. The majority
of her 1000 plus students since 1991 began learning their art techniques at the Artist Proof. Alyson Stoddard Thompson who
began teaching in Graduate School on a Fellowship in 1978, has an extensive educational background. See resume page.
